Both of them stand a high degree of external impact. Watch GlassДЄpple watch screen is made up of ION- X strengthen glass, whereas Garmin Forerunner 245 is made up of CorningвЂ™s gorilla glass 3. Since the screens of smartwatches are not that big it is sometimes a hassle to touch a specific area on the watch. I personally prefer the buttons as they are easier to operate as compared to touch screens. The Forerunner 245 has a ton of features therefore it will take you some time to understand which features are activated using which buttons. However, Garmin Forerunner 245 doesnвЂ™t have a touchscreen, and you have to use the 5 buttons to access its functions. But itвЂ™s all about your tasteвЂ¦ДЄpple watch series 5 has a touchscreen that allows you to operate it easily, even on the go. I personally like a round shaped watch, although IвЂ™ve used Huami Amazfit BIP in the past which is a square shaped watch. The apple watch has a square shape with two variations of 40mm and 44mm, whereas the Garmin forerunner watch is round in shape with 42.3mm. The obvious difference between these both watches is their shape and case size.
